Jaipur is the capital of India’s Rajasthan state. It evokes the royal family that once ruled the region and that, in 1727, founded what is now called the Old City, or “Pink City” for its trademark building color. Jodhpur is a city in the Thar Desert of the northwest Indian state of Rajasthan. Its 15th-century Mehrangarh Fort is a former palace that’s now a museum, displaying weapons, paintings and elaborate royal palanquins (sedan chairs).

The fastest way to reach Jaipur from Hyderabad is by Flight. It takes approximately 3 hours. The cheapest way to reach Jaipur from Hyderabad is by Train which would take approximately 24 hours.

Where to Stay in Jaipur and food

We stayed at "The Orion" which is very near the railway station on Devi Marg, Sen Colony, Bani Park. Hotel was Ok, not that great to stay for long. Normally visitors who come to Jaipur for 1-2 days work stay here. Food mainly the breakfast and Lunch was OK. Nothing great but for 1-2 days, it's fine.

How to Reach Jodhpur from Jaipur

We took train "Marudhar Express - 14853" from Jaipur junction to Jodhpur. Train was late as usual by 1 hr but it was neat and clean. We took the III AC and there was no one other us in the section , so we enjoyed the trip.

Stay in Jodhpur

We stayed in "The Ummed Jodhpur Palace Resort and Spa". It was around 1 hour 30 mins drive from railway station. The road was very bad but the resort was too good.
